Bee is designed and built by Basil Shkara.

I’ve been building Bee full-time (with some tiny breaks for contractual work) since 2010.

I’m privileged to be able to continuously design and develop this piece of software which I imagined up many years ago.

I didn’t want to contribute to the growing mass of issue trackers out there, but I wanted to improve upon the experience of using them. It seemed that everyone was improving the user-experience and beauty of Notes and Twitter apps, but not developer tools. So Bee was born to fill this void.

My aim is to create a tool that you want to use as well as taking away the pain associated with issue tracking. I’m deeply obsessed with it.

Neat.io is my one-man company and I love that I can wear many hats. I build and design the website, shoot the videos, do the support and marketing, and of course — write the software.
